I tried everything - switching ports, bloating the USB with all the drivers of all versions I could find, running in UEFI fashion (What does that fifty-fifty hateful, it shows my USB name twice, one time with UEFI:XXXX and only XXXX, but that's non of import) and well-nigh every other online flim-flam I could find. But in the end windows tells me that I need to insert a disk with some media drivers (doesn't specify of form).

I know that the USB isn't corrupted because I installed Fedora and Ubuntu from it later it outset failed, both installations finished without a hitch.

I switched the .ISOs around, even trying a few from questionable sources (hey, i have a cardinal anyhow, so it's not piracy in whatsoever case right?). But all of them had the exact same trouble.

Does anyone know any other tricks? At this point I'm stuck with my former Windows 7, and I don't like it at all. Please, I know that nigh of y'all hate Windows 10 for various reasons, but that doesn't affair right now.

Full(ish) specs:
CPU: i5-6400 (completely stock, nil was changed on this)
GPU: HD 530 iGPU
RAM: Crucial 8GB 2133MHz (don't know the exact model, the PC is pre-built)
HDD: Seagate HDD ST1000DM003
Motherboard: ASUS H110m-grand

The PC works flawlessly in Win7 and all Linux distros I tried, the CPU isn't overheating or anything (hell, it's below 40C fifty-fifty at full load).

I don't know what to try at this point, I can work with Windows 7, but I have to know if annihilation is just broken hither to go and swap the PC out dorsum at the store (they replace the whole PC if problems appear within the first month), but I actually think that this is a software upshot.

Edit: I completely forgot, Windows 7 didn't want to install either, I updated the BIOS and information technology installed with the driver DVD inside.

Even if yous're non certain about your solution, please don't hold back, I'll endeavor everything that doesn't include voiding my warranty.

UEFI: XXXX is the style you to accept USB as,
practise you accept fast boot turned on? information technology may skip all the USB devices except the keyboard and mouse at start up (have a look in your manual) if you practice.
which USB slots are y'all using? information technology shouldn't matter every bit Win x should recognise USB three drives, but using USB 2 might make it easier.

The problem can be acquired by a bad ISO, you should download the Windows 10 media cosmos tool and employ it to make the USB.

Did you reset bios before trying? take you lot got latest bios?

If you lot bought from store, why didn't you inquire them to install win 10?

Attempt putting the motherboard driver disc in when it enquire for drivers.

I formatted the USB through Diskpart and manually inserted the files, and I did effort using the disk, in fact, that's the simply style to install Windows seven for me at the moment.

I am sure that Fast Kicking is turned on right now, I didn't even remember about that, I'll get and try again then.

And about everything else, I tried all of that, I was only able to install Windows 7 afterwards the BIOS update. And I updated through the BIOS Internet option, so information technology'south definitely the latest version. The store'due south service doesn't include installing any Bone except for FreeDOS.

I'll be dorsum with an update if this works.

Edit: Turning Fast Kicking off didn't modify anything.

That's what I did on the very get-go endeavour, and that's how I installed Windows vii later, but right at present that doesn't piece of work either.
